Start with a question, then a scope

A useful scope connects a business goal to a specific problem. “Improve SEO” is too broad. “Make our service pages understandable and discoverable” gives a reviewer something concrete to inspect.

  • Define the audience, location and language of the page.
  • Check what already exists before adding more pages.
  • Ask for findings, proposed changes, ownership and a measurement plan.
  • Separate a technical repair from content, design and ongoing promotion.
