Ask what the quote actually includes. The number of pages is only one factor; the starting condition, technical complexity and review effort also matter.

  • Initial audit and implementation responsibilities.
  • Original writing, translation and editorial review.
  • Technical fixes, design changes and development access.
  • Measurement, reporting and ongoing maintenance.

Separate one-time and ongoing work

A migration or broken redirect may be a bounded repair. Content improvement and monitoring can be ongoing activities. Ask what happens each month, which outputs you receive and what remains with your own team.

Ask for the full commercial scope

Before accepting a proposal, clarify the currency, taxes, third-party costs, approvals, exclusions and exit terms with the provider. A lower headline price can cover less work. A higher price does not guarantee better rankings.
